Phivos is a graduate of the English School, Nicosia, and holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics & Accounting from City University, London, and an MA in International Business & International Financial Management from the University of Reading. He began his banking career at Arab Bank Cyprus in 1988, serving in various senior roles until 2008, concluding as General Manager Operations & Customer Services. He joined Hellenic Bank in 2008, later becoming Chief Operating Officer and Chief Integration Officer, leading the successful integration of the Cyprus Cooperative Bank. From 2021 to 2024, he headed Technology & Operations. He is currently Chief Operating Officer at Eurobank.
